3 Frightening KB Workouts To Scare Away Those Extra Halloween Calories [INSIDE]

Hey – Happy Sunday!

Hope you enjoyed that extra hour of sleep we got last night (if you’re in the US).

Sorry I’ve been incommunicado this past week. I was in Florida on a business trip and was burning the midnight oil – late flights and late nights.

So I hope you’ve been behaving yourself and doing what you gotta do to keep moving forward to your goals. ;-)

Speaking of moving forward…

Last night was Halloween.

And that means lots of extra candy floating around.

Unless of course you already ate all of it last night (or this morning for breakfast – LOL).

And that can only mean one thing (well 2 actually):

1. Guilt and shame
2. Extra calories – the sugar and fat kind that get
almost immediately stored as fat

So I took the liberty of designing a workout for you (3 actually – depending on your skill level) to help you scare away those extra calories. :-)

Option 1: Beginner

Do this TWICE today – 10 minutes in the morning or at lunch and 10 minutes in the evening.

1H Swings x 10,10
• Rest as needed between sets
• Make them explosive and powerful

Option 2: Intermediate

Do TWO workouts today – both 10 minutes. Once in the morning or at lunch, and once in the evening.

Workout 1:
Snatches x 10,10
• Use a medium sized KB
• Rest as needed between sets
• Make them explosive and powerful

Workout 2:
1H Swings x 10,10
• Rest as needed between sets
• Make them explosive and powerful

Option 3: Advanced

Do TWO workouts today – both 10 minutes. Once in the morning or at lunch, and once in the evening.

Workout 1:
Clean + Push Presses x 10
• Use a medium sized pair of KBs
• Rest as needed between sets
• But keep your heart rate up
• Make them explosive and powerful

Workout 2:
Farmer’s Carries, 1 minute on, 1 minute off
• Use a heavy pair of KBs
• Keep your head up, chest up, and breathe behind the shield.

Pick the Option that best fits your needs and just do it.

Now you may be wondering – Why TWICE a day?

Why not just once a day?

Simple.

Greater mental focus with the shorter workouts.

And more total calories burned with the two-a-day workouts.

Plus, shorter workouts just “work” much better for so many people than longer 45 to 60 minute ones. If “all” you can do is shorter, when faced with only the possibility of longer ones, then it’s better to do them.

That reminds me of a conversation I had this past week – I’ll have to tell you about it later.
