3 Simple Strategies To Lose 3 Pounds Of Fat In The Next 3 Weeks

Hope you had a great weekend – we’re still struggling
to find our stride with sleep schedules so I’ll make this
quick today –

There’s 3 weeks to go before the end of the year.

While everyone else is using the Holidays an excuse to
gorge their lazy faces off and then complain about it
from January 2nd through Thanksgiving next year, you
can kick butt and take names –

Stripping off bodyfat almost as effortlessly as a fat kid
going back for thirds at the Christmas buffet.

Here are 3 simple ways to lose at least 3 pounds in the
next 3 weeks, setting yourself up for a strong start in 2014
.

1. Implement some sort of Intermittent Fasting.

Or, controlled fasting.

Point is, don’t eat for long periods of time, followed by eating
for short periods of time. Many people like the “Leangains”
approach of a 16 hour fast, followed by an 8 hour eating
window.

Or the Warrior Diet 20 hour fast, followed by the 4 hour
feeding window.

Or make up your own. Just make sure you’re eating period
is smaller than your fasting period.

You don’t need to know “why” as an excuse for not getting
started. ;-]

2. Cut out your carbs during the day.

That’s right – give up the muffins, bagels, juice, fruit,
scones, toast, Special K, sandwiches, or whatever.

Only eat carbs – starchy ones, with dinner on workout days.

And not much either – not more than the size of your fist.

This will help manage your storage/mobilization hormones
responsible for either burning fat or storing it. This strategy
will “flip the switch” to “fat-burning mode.”

Eating carbs post workout will aid in recovery.

Pretty simple.

3. If you’re going to “indulge” at office parties, forget the
Post Season mentality – you’ll need to create “space”
so you don’t get fat.

The parties are your “competition” so if you were an athlete
you’d be “In Season.”

Therefore, implement either heavy strength training or some
heavy duty metabolic conditioning before your parties.

Heavy double KB workouts or double KB complexes fit
the bill nicely.

You need to not only burn calories during your workouts,
but ensure that you’re burning them afterward too.
