The Friday “Fast One” #71 [WORKOUT]

Happy Friday once again.

For me, it’s truly a TGIF.

Been one of those long-short weeks where there just isn’t enough time to get all the stuff done on your “to do” list.

Good news though, it’s getting shorter. ;-]

Speaking of shortening the “to do” list –

Here’s a quick workout you can do today that takes very little thought or effort on your part.

(Saving mental RAM is great for us last-minute Christmas shoppers – only ONE WEEK left! EGADS!!)

This one’s a great one for burning a crap-ton of calories (that’s similar to a metric ton – or is that “tonne?” – I think).

And it’s one we haven’t done in a long, long, long, long –

Ok, you get the point.

Here it is – and it’s broken up into 3 categories:

Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced-t. With a “t.”

(I’m told that’s really advanced. LOL…)

Beginner: 2H Swings.

– Set your timer for 15 minutes.
– Use a “comfortable” sized KB.
– Do as many sets of 10 as you can.
– Rest as necessary.
– Use perfect form.
– See how many total sets you can do.

Intermediate: 1H Swings.

– Set your timer for 15 minutes.
– Use a “comfortable” sized KB.
– Do as many sets of 10 as you can.
– Either do 10+10 or rest between hands.
– Rest as necessary between sets.
– Use perfect form.

Advanced-t: Snatches.

(Awww yeah!!)

– Set your timer for 15 minutes.
– Use a Snatch-test sized KB or one size heavier.
– Do as many sets of 10+10 as you can.
– Rest as necessary between sets.
– Use perfect form.

And that’s it.

BOOM!

D-U-N. Done.

Wait.

I said “little effort.”

Well, compared to doing Day 3 from Kettlebell Muscle you can think of this as “little effort.”

It’s all perspective, isn’t it. :-)

Enjoy!

Geoff

PS – If you like this “short workout” idea, I’d be happy to send you a 15 minute workout each and every day.
