“What’s Your Favorite KB Fat Loss Program?”

I love hearing about all the results people get using my
fat loss programs.

When I get talking about fat loss and fat loss programming
with people, they ultimately want to know what my favorite
program is that I’ve written.

I’m probably shooting myself in the foot here, but I’m going
on record to say out of all the fat loss programs I’ve ever written,
I actually do have a favorite.

Before I tell you which one it is, let me tell you why I love
this particular program.

1. Because I’m lazy.

I don’t mind working hard.

But I don’t like working hard for long duration.

So as much as I’m known for and love complexes, they’re
way down on the list because the “suck factor” is so high.

Sure, I’ll do them, but in the moment I hate the burning in
my lungs and the fatigue in my fingers and forearms.

I like low reps and heavy weight.

So if you hand me a program with those 2 things in it I’ll
be a happy, happy camper. And I’m more apt to stick with
the program and therefore see the results.

2. I like to eat.

I said it and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

I don’t eat like a bird and I like my ice cream.

So I want a program that let’s me “cheat” and eat my favorite

The days are gone when I’m going to eat plain tuna and
rice 6 times a day.

Nice to do when you’re single, but not good when you have
a family.

I want to enjoy my food and not feel deprived.

So, yeah, as good as “ultra-low carb” is for stripping off body
fat, I’m just not going to do it.

3. I like to feel strong and powerful while I’m losing fat.

Let’s face it, most fat loss programs, even many of the KB
fat loss programs I’ve seen, are based “cardio-based” –
meaning, there’s a lot of huffing and puffing and not so
much strength training.

When I went through this program, I had just come out of
almost 2 years of no heavy kettlebell and barbell lifting.

I had been doing primarily nothing but bodyweight training
to rehab my busted up body.

So this seemed like a perfect fit for me.

It was kettlebell work and it was relatively heavy.

And I loved it.

Each week I got leaner.

Each week I got measurably stronger. (I kept a training log
and my total work increased each and every week.)

And quite honestly, it made me feel young again.

So not only was I feeling strong and powerful while doing
this program, I was BECOMING strong and powerful again.

a training log and a video. More on that in a second.)

4. I don’t want to work out all day anymore.

When I was younger, I could spend all day in the gym.

And many days I literally did.

Now I just have too much on my plate. And I want to spend
time with my family, not 2 hours a day working out.

Whether I want to lose fat or not, I want something time-

Come to think of it, that is ESPECIALLY true when I’m on
a fat loss program.

The shorter, the better, within reason.

That was one of the things I loved about “Kettlebell Burn

Sure, it was every day, but that was a GOOD THING – because
it bred consistency, and consistency is what breeds success –


Less fat.

I “only” lost 10 pounds of pure blubber when I went through

I did when I was 23 which got me down to low single digit body fat.

Quite frankly, the double KBs weren’t heavy enough for my
body to elicit the same type of change it did when I was younger.

to get those types of results again – which I just wasn’t able at
the time nor willing to “give” it.

Plus, I had WAY less stress in my life.
