When Double KB Training Goes Bad :(

You might find this hard to believe:

I don’t think you should do double KB training year
round.

“Heresy!” You say!

“Hypocrite!” Others may say.

It’s true.

In fact, my Kettlebell Secrets Insider Coaching Group
are currently just finishing up Stage 1 and the feedback
I’ve gotten back about their results using just single
KB exercises and their bodyweight has been amazing.

One lady, an SFG2, who’s been using KBs for 10 years,
said her Get Up has never felt better.

You should be including single KB work periodically
through the year to compliment and actually boost your
future ability with your double KB training.

Like I said, if and when you do it right, the single
KB work compliments the double KB work.

How so?

Because there’s not only a possibility, but a probability
that if you stay on doubles 24/7 that you’ll start
developing imbalances between your dominant and non-dominant
sides or exacerbate the ones you already have – the ones
you haven’t either found or taken care of yet.

Why?

Because you still have dominant and non-dominant sides.

And if you don’t know for sure that the strength of your
dominant side and non-dominant side are within 90% or greater
of each other, then you’re setting yourself up for a future
injury.

So what do you do?

1. You train for strength using your single KBs.

2. And your fortify your weak links.

3. And you focus on your technique, your technique, and your
technique.

4. And you practice, practice, practice.

5. And you incidentally burn off fat because your technique
practice becomes more and more efficient.

Now’s the perfect time of the year for this kind of training
due to the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

For men, I recommend using a 24kg. Sure, you can use a
lighter or heavier KB based on your current strength levels.

And for women, I recommend using a 16kg – again, adjusting
for your strength levels.

My very good friend, Chris Lopez, SFG2, has put together
a program that will take you through the holidays – for the
next 8 weeks to do just what I recommend.

Honestly, I wish I had put this together, but like a Wascally
Wabbit, he out-foxed me and put this out before I even thought
of it.

It’s like a single KB version of “Kettlebell STRONG!”.

It’s called, “Kettlebell Evolution” and Chris will show
you not only how to fine-tune your single KB technique, he’ll
also show you how doing so can keep those Holiday pounds
away and –

He’ll show you a method of eating you can use while practicing
your technique that will help you actually LOSE body fat over
the Holidays.

Shift into single KB mode here.

Talk soon.

P.S. One of the best parts about “Kettlebell Evolution” is
the two different kinds of videos included:

1) Follow along workout videos so you know how to pace
yourself and,

2) Actual full-fledged single KB instructional videos.

Both of which will help you get stronger and leaner this
time of year with less effort than you’d expect because you’ll
know how to do your workouts right and you’ll know how to
do your exercises right.
